The Solid Foundation is driven by a strong commitment to stabilizing underprivileged communities through targeted real estate revitalization. We take pride in providing charitable investments that strengthen local economies creating jobs, supporting household incomes, and increasing tax revenue for long-term community growth

Our Initiatives

As a community-based organization, we offer programs and cooperate with departments and agencies in Detroit, in order to carry out this mission. We provide the following programs: community development, affordable housing, and employment.

Community Development

As a community development organization we developed a plan called HEART. By collaborating closely with our investors, business stakeholders and local agencies, we acquire and rehabilitate neglected properties in urban areas. This initiative is divided into 4 parts: Identify, Restore, Sustain, and Community Development.

Affordable Housing

We assist families facing housing instability by offering programs that support financial recovery, provide housing solutions, and include affordable homeowner workshops to guide them through the homeownership process.

Employment

By redeveloping abandoned and neglected neighborhoods, we generate employment opportunities for Detroit residents. We have openings for skilled trade workers eager to contribute to the rebuilding of Detroit's communities. For more details on job opportunities, please contact us.

Job Training

The Solid Foundation and our partners offer job training programs designed for employers, trade schools, and individuals aspiring to build a career in the construction industry. Reach out to us to learn more.

Pathways to Prosperity

Pathways to Prosperity is a holistic support program by the SOLID Foundation, dedicated to empowering new immigrants as they transition to life in the United States. Centered in Detroit, this program provides newly arrived immigrants with essential resources such as employment opportunities, housing, transportation, and ongoing support services.
